¡ ¡ ¡SPOILER ALERT!!! if you haven’t seen the Matrix trilogy. When I heard there was a 4th
Matrix movie, I was happy and sad at the same time. I thought the first was one of the greatest
movies of all time. I really liked most
of the second one. The CGI today doesn’t
hold up, but I enjoyed where they were going for the most part. The 3rd one was terrible. I watched it again years later and thought,
it’s slightly better than I initially thought, but it’s not good. When they announced a 4th one I
thought maybe they can explain some of things that didn’t make sense, or they
will stay in the same universe but show a different story line. Then they said Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne
Moss would be back. Spoilers: both died
in the 3rd movie. I guess my
subconscious took over and created this dream.
I watched the story line play out as a 3rd party viewer. Some things I saw and some I understood. The Matrix had extracted the life and
memories of Trinity when she plugged into the Matrix. The machines reloaded her memories into a new
body and essentially reincarnated Trinity.
I saw her wake up again for the first time in a bed, much older than she
when she had died. She matched the age
of Carrie-Anne Moss now.
The next part of the dream I was the new Neo. The machines had created androids to look
like humans. I was now an android living
amongst other androids in a world that replicated the human world from the
Matrix. I didn’t know if I was living in
the real world or the Matrix. I had
discovered I was very powerful and confused.
I wanted to rebel when all the other machines were programmed to just do
as they were programmed. I started to
destroy things to cause chaos.
Eventually, I created enough of a scene that caused the authorities to
come after me. I had to escape, so I ran
upstairs into this room. There was a bed
in the middle of a room with small table that had a lamp on it under the window. There was a closest door, but I never opened
it. I locked the entrance door, but I
knew it was only a means to slow them down and wouldn’t stop them from getting inside. Then I left the body I was controlling, and I
was now watching the scene play out.
Human Neo flew into the room from somewhere unexplainable and explained
that his code had been programmed into this Android which was the new Neo. Neo said to the new Neo, “I was looking for
you. We must get out of here.” They jumped out of the video and I woke up.
